The Bachelor of Science (Gatton) is no longer available for admission. Semester 2, 2020 was the last semester new students could commence in the program.

Your Options

1. Continue with your current Program

If you're currently studying the Bachelor of Science (Gatton) [2330] and you're happy with your current program, no action is required and you can continue your study in this program as normal.

We encourage you to consult the Animal & Veterinary Bioscience Major Study Planner or the Animal & Veterinary Bioscience Extended Major Study Planner, as these have been updated with any changes to courses required or recommended for your program and plan.

You are in no way disadvantaged by completing your study in this program and from 2021, you’ll no longer be required to complete the minimum 12-units of late-year courses (level 3 or higher) and can instead complete a minimum of 10-units of Level 3 or higher courses.

There will be a small number of courses that will no longer be available to study. We recommend that you read through the information available on the 'Discontinued Courses' tab in conjunction with the study planner for your plan.

2. Move to an alternate program

If you're considering changing to an alternate program, you'll need to submit a Program Change Request.

Our revised Bachelor of Science available at the St Lucia campus might suit you. You might also be interested in the range of our other undergraduate programs available to study at the Gatton campus.

Discontinued Courses

Majority of the courses that formed part of the Bachelor of Science (Gatton) program will remain available so you can complete your study. There will only be a small number of courses for the program and plans that will no longer be available.
