- MATH1040 is compulsory for students who have not passed/completed Senior Mathematics B (or equivalent). Students who achieved an SA in Senior Mathematics B are recommended to complete MATH1040 but may opt to complete an elective course instead. Students who achieved an HA (or higher) in Senior Mathematics B are not permitted to complete MATH1040 and should choose an elective course instead.

- 14 week industry placement course worth 4 units.
- Two-week field excursion during mid-year break (July) worth 4 units. Additional fee payable. For 2021, depending on COVID restrictions, course may be held in Sept/Oct.
- From Semester 2, 2021 ENVM3102 no longer offered and replaced by ENVM3112.
- From Semester 2, 2020 ENVM3102 no longer offered and replaced by ENVM3107.
Year 4
Students with an interest in research and/or completing a thesis are encouraged to complete Part E of the BEnvMan(Hons) course list (research thesis and advanced electives). In order to enrol in Part E, a student must have completed all other program requirements (Part A and Part B), and have a minimum GPA of 5.5.
Students who are interested in continuing coursework are required to complete Part D.
