Key Changes
From Semester 1 2021, the Bachelor of Regional & Town Planning has the following changes:
- Core (compulsory) courses required for the program have changed
- Decrease to the amount of late year (level 3 or higher) courses required
- Electives courses for the program have changed.
Please read the 'BRTP(Hons) Changes' to understand what has changed for the Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning (Honours). This will advise what will be required for you to transfer to the Honours program, along with other changes made to the program.

Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for the Honours program have changed.
However; if you commenced study in the Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning before Semester 1 2021, you are eligible to apply to study the Honours program if you have completed:
- Years 1 to 3 of the Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning program; and
- Have a GPA of 5.5.
If you transfer into the Bachelor of Regional & Town Planning (Honours) and have not yet completed PLAN3001 – Applied Research Methods, you will be eligible to follow the pre-2021 program rules and course list.
