To complete the Bachelor of Applied Science

To complete the Bachelor of Applied Science, a student must complete a requisite number of courses chosen from the course list and according to the Rules for the program.

Students should be aware of the University of Queensland rules, particularly the General Award Rules, which govern the conduct of UQ programs. Students will find a link to the General Award Rules, and other University rules, on the University Rules page.

Students are required to obtain 48 units comprising -

  • 20 units from Part A of the BAppSc course list;
  • one extended major from Part B of the BAppSc list
    OR
    one single major from Part B of the BAppSc List.
  • the balance are electives from Part B or Part C or other courses approved by the executive dean
  • at least 12 units of level 3 courses overall.
